To participate immediately:
- Choose Black-Owned Merchants: Use our curated directory to locate verified local services and merchants.
- Log Your Purchases: Record your spending under your signed-in profile to add to the ledger.
- Verify via Receipt Uploads: Upload a photo of your receipt to establish verified transactions on the ledger.
What is the Black Wealth Transfer Spend Ledger & Calculator?
The Black Wealth Transfer Spend Ledger & Calculator is an in-app tool that aggregates individual conscious purchasing data to calculate the collective economic impact of the Black Buycott movement.
It splits spending into two distinct tracking categories:
- Direct Spending (Receipt Verified): Purchases backed by uploaded receipt photos, verified to establish audited economic support.
- Influenced Spending (Self-Logged): Purchases inspired by directory listings and logged manually by the consumer to show market redirection.
What are the benefits of using the Spend Ledger?
Using the Spend Ledger provides direct economic accountability and mapping for the community:
- Real-Time Macroeconomic Visibility: Every dollar logged instantly updates the global Community Wealth Ledger ticker at the top of the app, demonstrating the expanding GDP of the movement.
- Proof of Purchase Influence: It provides clear, documented receipts proving the direct redirection of capital, showing merchants and sponsors the power of our collective spending.
- Direct Economic Empowerment: Because all transactions occur directly between the buyer and the merchant, there are no middleman fees, transactional margins, or corporate cuts.
How do you log your transactions on the ledger?
- Log in to your profile dashboard on the app.
- Under the Black Wealth Transfer Dashboard, select the merchant from the dropdown list.
- Enter your transaction amount.
- Set the spend type to Verified and snap or upload a photo of your receipt (or choose Influenced for self-logged cash/unlisted transactions).
- Press Record to Sovereign Ledger to instantly update your personal dashboard and push the global community ticker forward.
